Professional Bio Writing

Project Details

What We Need
  • Short bios for up to 6 members of your team, including links to relevant social media profiles, preferred contact method(s), and headshot selection
  • Note: this project does not include the taking or editing of headshots
Additional Details

We are a collection of special educators with on average 18 years of experience in our specific roles. We have (poorly) written bios but in order to bring special education equity to the Bronx then we need to level up. We would greatly appreciate your help.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have resumes, and bios for all, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have pretty impressive careers, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to use those bios in marketing materials to showcase what experience and dedication to the special needs community look like.

We want to showcase the incredibly brilliant, experienced, and diverse group of women that we have running this nonprofit. We want to ensure we come across as accomplished and professional as possible as we will have so many other barriers to overcome, our bios shouldn't be one of them. Thank you in advance for your help.

Our mission is to provide early intervention services to children with disabilities, transition support for their families and specialized career training and placement for those living and working in the community we serve. By ensuring our employment is family-centered, our vendors are local, and our dedication is always to the community around us; everyone leaves us inspired and empowered.

What We Do

Our center-based program will provide Early Intervention services to children with special needs in historically underserved and systemically disenfranchised neighborhoods.

Our family support programs will empower our families to advocate for their children and navigate the quagmire that is special education services in New York City.

Our Family-Centered Employment policies will ensure that our staff feel supported and appreciated not just by words but by policy and action.

Our training curriculum, certification support, and career placement will enrich the community with more job opportunities in a field that will not only serve their soul but their career apirations as well.
