Flexible Marketing Strategy Support

What We Need
  • Ongoing marketing strategy support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: defining your marketing goals, determining the right marketing channels, messaging your program, branding, or defining your target audience
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.

eMerge Career Collaborative is an exciting, new opportunity for true post secondary education leading to employment for people with disabilities, many neurodiverse individuals on the Autism Spectrum. eMerge launched as part of our overall programming prior to the pandemic, and has assisted many individuals who are blind, deaf or autistic to find well paying jobs even during the crisis. It needs to be separated from the "parent" organization so that the community will be able to distinguish it.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have a dedicated team that has been onboard since day 1, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have photos, letters of support, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to provide scholarship assistance to needy students.

eMerge is the real deal. eMerge's elevated educational training provides globally recognized certificates that demonstrate to an employer that the student/graduate has the expertise needed for employment. MTC's proud legacy as a trainer for basic level jobs may be impacting our ability to reach the students who would benefit from this elevated education. eMerge has a separate DBA, but needs its own marketing campaign to open the eyes of the community to this exciting resource.

  • Volunteer and Volunteer Manager align on the scope of ongoing support that the Volunteer will provide to address this need

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks

MacDonald Training Center is a private- 501(c)( 3) non profit, established in 1953 by J. Clifford MacDonald, as one of the first pre-schools in our nation for children with disabilities. A tireless advocate for full inclusion for people with disabilities, Mr. MacDonald received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and served as Chair of the National Committee for Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment. We honor his legacy.
